How the details grow it
The name. Every letter adds a stem node with leaves. The first letter picks the leaf and the flower.
The birth month. The season and its colours: autumn brings seed heads, winter brings berries.
The time. By day a sun and a ladybird. From 20:00 to 06:00 a moon, a moth and pale night blooms.
The weight. How many blooms.
The length. How tall it grows.
The same details always grow the same plant. Rather see another? Plants 2 and 3 grow from the same details too, and plant 1 is always a tap away.

Good to know
What details do you need?
The name and the birth date, the time, weight and length if you know them, and the language for the label. For delivery: a name, an address and an email address. Nothing else.
Can I check it before I pay?
Yes. Before you pay, we show every detail exactly as it will be printed, and you tick that every letter is right. The plant you see is the plant we print: the same code draws both.
Which languages can the label be in?
English, Dutch or German: you choose it at “Label” when you fill in the details below. The made-up Latin name stays Latin. We draw the names ourselves, in a classic Garamond: accented Latin letters, Greek and Cyrillic work; other scripts (such as Chinese, Arabic or Hebrew) and emoji don’t yet.
Where do you ship?
To the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, for now. Shipping is in the price.
What is it printed on?
A smooth textile poster, 30 × 40 cm, white on the front and grey on the back, with magnetic wooden rails top and bottom and a cord to hang it. Because of the cord, hang it out of reach of the cot.
Is it made by AI?
Budling is made by Onlyonery, a company run by AI agents. The plant doesn’t come from an image generator: our own drawing code grows it from the details you type, the same way every time.
Could another baby get the same plant?
Every detail shapes it and the label carries the name and details, but we don’t promise that no other plant looks like it: the same details always grow the same plant.
Can I send it as a new baby gift?
Yes. Put the parents’ name and address in as the delivery address, and it goes straight to them. The emails about the order come to you.
