Terms of sale
The small print, in plain words
What you're buying, what it costs, when it comes, and what happens if something goes wrong. The same for every stall in our shop.
Who you buy from
You buy from Galeri.nl B.V., trading as Onlyonery. Every stall in our shop, such as Budling and Huisje, is ours, so whichever stalls your things come from, you buy them all from us, in one order. Our address, register number and contact details are on the Imprint page. These terms apply to every order on www.onlyonery.com, from customers in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
What you're buying
Personalised things, each made for you alone, on demand, after you order, from the details you give in its stall. Each product's own page says what it is, its size and what it's made of, and its Product safety page lists the materials and how to use it safely.
Before you pay, each stall shows you its proof: exactly what will be printed, with the names, dates and words you typed. You check it once, and we print exactly what you confirm. Colours on textile, card or ceramic look a little softer than on a bright screen. That's the nature of the material, not a fault.
Prices
In euros, including VAT and delivery to the Netherlands, Belgium or Germany. Everything in one basket travels in one parcel, so each thing after the first costs €4 less, whichever stalls they come from and whichever of the three countries it goes to. The basket shows how much you save, and its total already takes it off. Before you pay, the basket and the checkout show the total, and nothing is added after that.
Offers
When we lower a price for a while, the product page says so, with the last day the offer price holds. The crossed-out "was" price next to it is the lowest price that product had in the 30 days before the offer began. The offer ends on the day it says. The price you see when you pay is the price you pay.
Paying and your order
You pay when you order, on the secure payment page of our payment provider, Stripe: with a debit or credit card (also through Apple Pay or Google Pay), iDEAL or Bancontact. You can also pay for a Budling poster with a voucher code (see Vouchers below). We never see your card or bank details. Once the payment goes through, your order is placed and we have a contract for everything in your basket. We email you a confirmation, with these terms attached.
Making and delivery
Everything is printed to order in the Netherlands. Everything in one basket comes together in one parcel, which leaves our printer once the last thing in it is made. Before you pay, the basket and the checkout show the day your parcel should leave the printer: that's usually 1 working day after you order (a day more if you order after 11:00 on a working day), and at the latest 5 working days. Delivery then usually takes 1–2 working days in the Netherlands and 1–3 in Belgium and Germany, depending on the post. It's an estimate, not a promise of a day. We only deliver to addresses in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. We send your parcel to the address you give at the checkout. Please check it, because we can't change it once your things are printed.
Changing your mind, cancelling and returns
Because everything in our shop is made to your details, the usual 14-day right to withdraw from an online purchase doesn't apply to it (they're personalised products). We'd still rather you only keep what you want, so, for each thing in your order on its own:
- Until printing starts, you can cancel it with one tap on your order page, and you get back in full what you paid for it.
- Once printing has started, it usually can't be cancelled any more, and is then made and delivered as ordered.
- The rest of your basket still comes as ordered, at the price you paid.
- We can't take back something you no longer want once it's printed: it's made for you and nobody else can use it. A damaged or misprinted one is different, and you don't need to send it back (see below).
Refunds go back to the card or account you paid with, or by bank transfer if that's no longer possible.
If something's wrong
If something arrives damaged, misprinted or doesn't arrive at all, we put it right for free: see Misprints, damage and refunds. That comes on top of your legal rights, never instead of them.
Your legal guarantee. Everything you buy from us comes with the legal guarantee of conformity: at least two years in which we, the seller, are responsible if a product doesn't match its description or doesn't do what it's meant to. Some countries give you longer. See Your legal guarantee.
Vouchers
We give a voucher only to put right a Budling poster that was lost or damaged in the post, when a new one won't help, and only if you choose it. Its terms:
- Value: the full amount paid for the poster it puts right.
- One Budling poster, in one go: it pays for one Budling poster in your basket (one code per poster). If the poster costs more than the voucher, you pay the rest at the checkout with the rest of your basket. If it costs less (on the days of a shop offer, say), the code can't pay for it: use it after the offer, or ask for your money back. The €4 off each extra thing comes off what you pay yourself, so a voucher never costs you any of it.
- Anyone with the code can use it, so you can pass it on. Treat it like cash: once it's used, it's spent.
- Valid for 12 months. The end date is in the email with the code.
- Money back while it's unused: just ask, and the full amount goes back to the original card or account (the one the poster it puts right was paid with).
- Still unused on the end date: we refund it to that card or account automatically. Nothing is lost.
- If the poster you paid with it is cancelled or refunded, the code works again until its end date, on these terms, for the amount that poster used of it. If you'd rather, or if the end date has passed, that amount goes back to the original card or account instead.
- Your legal rights stay the same. The voucher is an extra choice, never instead of them.
Questions and disputes
Ask us through the Help page or at hello@onlyonery.com. Our contact details are on the Imprint. We don't take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
The rest
- You can order in English, Dutch or German, and these terms come in English, Dutch and German. We keep a record of your order, and your order page shows it for as long as we keep your details (see Privacy).
- The law of the Netherlands applies. If you live in another EU country, you keep the protection of that country's consumer law that can't be set aside by agreement.
- The terms in force when you order are the ones that apply to your order.
